Scouting Centenary - Live 07

The climax of scouting's centenary celebrations was the Live 07 show at the O2 arena in London.  Two Keyworth Scouts took part in the show.

Peter, of Keyworth Eagles Explorers, lead singer of 'The Adventure', sang the hit song Jambo.

Chris from Keyworth Scouts took part in the Nottinghamshire Gang Show contingent as Mowgli.

The show was a 3-hour spectacular, including a ready-steady-cook challenge for Scouts, Explorers abseiling from the roof of the dome, and a grand parade featuring characters from the last 100 years.  Participants have been rehearsing regularly over the last few months, culminating in a dress rehearsal at the arena on Saturday morning, followed by two shows back-to-back.  The shows were compered by Peter Duncan, Chief Scout and former Blue Peter action man.
