The Ruddington Army Cadet Force is part of

A. Company "The Rifles" Nottinghamshire Army Cadet Force.

It is a National Youth organisation, Which is run by Adult volunteers to try to make a difference to young peoples lives, whilst giving them a purposeful sense of direction.

We take an active role in:

  • The Duke of Edinburgh's (DOE) award scheme
  • Adveturous Training (Canoing, Climbing & Mountain biking)
  • Camping ( Military style) 
  • Shooting ( .22 small bore & 5.56 full bore) competition or Target
  • First Aid (training up to competion levels)
  • All Military Training (we are sponsored and supplied uniform)
  • Map & Compass (from basics to advanced levels)
  • Sports (Monthly PT/sports nights, & yearly inter cadet sport competitions)
  • Camaraderie ( making friendships with young people from all over the County)  

If you're between the ages of 12 (year 8 at school)  & 17 not too bored with life and fancy doing something totally different, from crawling in mud to shooting on Hi tech ranges, come down to The Ruddington A.C.F. Building situated on Loughborough Road, Ruddington 1 st left after the Rushcliffe Country Park road island next to the Football fields.

Open Tuesday & Thursday evenings 18.45 - 21.00.
