In October 2009 the ACF at Ruddington formed a Corps of Bugles and Drums.

We have attended a National Cadet Band Camp with cadets from Ruddington achieving BTEC in Music.
Cadets taking part in camps like this also gain their star grades.

We are appearing at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham on April 24th this year performing with the East midlands Cadet Band.

In July we will be returning to the Somme France, where we will attend a memorial parade for the fallen Soldiers from Nottingham th Corp of Bugles & Drums will lead the Parade.

Many of the Cadets who went to France last year have requested to go again

We are also training Cadets to carry Standards (Flags) for Parades and have a new Detachment Standard that was on the Rememberance Parade at Keyworth last November 11.
