Since 2004, I have been running an 80W MV Skinner type moth trap on many nights between spring and autumn.

The attached file ranks the catch by the most frequent (Large Yellow Underwing) to the most infrequent. It may be a useful aid to identifying any moths that you chance upon, but bear in mind that they fly at different times of the year, so although Large Yellow Underwing is abundant in July and August, there are none around during May.
