Musical Success For Keyworth Explorer Scout

Yet another success for Keyworth Scouts! On the 2nd of July a single will be released to celebrate the centenary of Scouting and it is hoped that it will get to number one. All of the money will go to charity and it will be sung at the Opening Ceremony of the World Jamboree in Essex in July.

Recently a competition was held for a Scout to be the lead singer and I am delighted to say that one of our Explorers, Peter, won. He went to Wales and recorded the single last Saturday.

I hope you will join us in congratulating Peter. He certainly is over the moon! It really is brilliant news for our Scout group. I don't suppose many units have 3 Scouts attending the Jamboree! Please buy the single as it is all for charity and a number one would be great!
