I've lived in Keyworth for over 10 years, and am a regular in the Willow Brook playground, the Scouts Parents' Committee (and Nottingham Sailing Club too!).

I've created Our Keyworth for a number of reasons:
- Many local groups would benefit from being able to
publish their information online easily and without any technical knowledge. This serves to publicise events as well as keeping the community informed as to what's going on locally. As a parent, I believe password-protected areas are important for groups involving children. The Scout Group and various Guide groups are already interested, and if you know of any other voluntary groups that would like pages - for free - just get in touch.
- To provide a
comprehensive information resource containing relevant information that you always have to look up - phone numbers, health information, rubbish collections, that sort of thing. It's all available online, but what an effort to find it.... until now! Again, if I've forgotten anything, we can get it added.
- To provide a
free business directory for Keyworth residents - I've started it off, but anyone that wants to add to the listings can - for free!
- To offer
local businesses an effective way of communicating with their customers, publish special offers, advertise vacancies, and publicise unfilled appointment slots that would otherwise go to waste. Many small businesses see the costs of getting online as prohibitive, so I've tried to make it cost-effective, providing valuable services, and excellent value for money.
