3rd Keyworth and Tollerton Guide Units camped at Topstones, Leicestershire this summer.  Despite a dire weather forecast, we actually had very good weather - apart from the day we arrived and the day we left!

Sunrise over the campsite!

Topstones is a beautiful campsite, and we made the most of the onsite facilities, including grass sledging, pond dipping, cooking our own food on our own fires, and of course we made good use of the campfire circle too!

Another beautiful day at camp

We had a day trip to the Owl and Falconry Centre at Rutland, where some of the Guides were lucky enough to fly Harry the Harris Hawk, and we all got to hold an owl.  Don't ask about what the vulture was eating though...

Everyone (even the Guiders!) got to hold an owl

It was a fun week!
