3rd Keyworth Brownies meet on a Wednesday. Brownies take part in a wide range of activities from climbing, cooking and crafts to fundraising, fashion and fire safety. Girls work towards interest badges either on their own or with others. When a girl joins she is put into a small group or “six” who she will work together with during her time as a Brownie.
We aim to encourage girls to develop team skills, to think of others and to try a range of activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.
Brownies is a uniformed organisation, and girls are expected to wear their uniform with pride most times we meet. Subscriptions are £1.50 per week, payable termly, occasionally we ask for an extra contribution if we are taking them somewhere more expensive.
